Our Mission is to improve the lives of animals, alleviate their suffering, and elevate their status in the community. We safeguard, rescue, shelter, heal, adopt and advocate for animals in need, while inspiring community action and compassion on their behalf. We are focused on lowering animal over-population and prevention of animal abuse.
Established in August 2010, Toccoa-Stephens County Humane Shelter, Inc., a non-profit 501c3 organization, receives funds from and operates on private donations, corporate donors,support from the City of Toccoa and Stephens County, grants and fundraising events. Contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Our Tax ID# is 26-4323208

TSCHS Adoption Procedure
Adoption Fees: Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, current (age appropriate) vaccinations,
and a microchip.
Hours of Operation:
● Tues.- Friday 11-5 and Saturday 11-4
Pricing:
● Dogs $100 - Puppies $125
● Senior dogs $60
● Cats $60 - Kittens $75
● Senior Cats $30

Adoption process:
● Fill out an application
● Fill out a contract
● Pay the adoption fee
Unfortunately, we are not able to hold animals without the adoption process being completed.
That includes the payment of the adoption fee. Adoptions are done on a first come, first served
basis. Online applications are accepted and payment can be made via phone and at
WWW.PayPal.me/TSCHS.
Otherwise we can not hold animals. After the adoption fee has been paid,
arrangements will be made to have the pet altered. No pets leave without being altered.
