Founded in 1982, the Animal Welfare Society of Southeastern Michigan is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitableorganization. We operate a 100% no-kill animal shelter and rescue located in Madison Heights, Michigan. We rescue abandoned, homeless animals and animals due to be euthanized at local kill shelters.

An approved application is required to adopt one of our pets. You may stop in for an application, request one via email or fill one out on our website. Our adoption fees vary based on vet care. The average adoption fees are as follows: Puppies $250-$350. Adult Dogs $175-$250. Kittens & Cats $85. Senior pets cost less. All animals are fully vetted. If the animal is under 4 months of age, a spay/neuter deposit is refunded to you after you have the pet altered.
