The Trumbull Animal Group (TAG) is a group of volunteers dedicated to assisting the Town of Trumbull, Connecticut with caring for and placing dogs residing at the shelter into new loving homes. We are a 501(c) non-profit organization that raises money for the medical care of the dogs. We are at the shelter daily to socialize the dogs and make sure they get to spend time outside as much as possible.
Membership to TAG is only $10/year and automatically covers you under our liability insurance policy. Meetings are held monthly to vote on expenditures and other issues.

Additional adoption info
Our adoption process includes having potential adopters and all family members residing in the same location come to the shelter and spend some time with the dog. If interested, the potential adopter will fill out an application and be interviewed by the animal control staff and volunteers (if possible). The Trumbull Canine Shelter looks to match dogs with homes and does not work on a first come, first serve basis.
