SOS Animal Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to reduce the number of unwanted pets in Midland area through placement, public education and spay/neuter assistance programs.

Our mission is to save as many animals as possible and more importantly stop the problem at the source. We have instituted a spay/neuter program for area pet owners who are unable to afford to spay/neuter their animal.

* If you are interested in learning more about a pet, give us a call @ (989) 492-0042 or come to one of our Adopt-a-thons.

*Fill out an Adoption Application and send it to us. We will review your application and contact you.

* As part of our adoption process, we do a vet check to ensure your current pets are up to date on a vaccines.

*We may also conduct a home visit to ensure that the new pet is well suited for your household.

*Once approved, you will sign an adoption contract.

*Our adoption fee is $50 for cats.

Prior to placement our pets receive all necessary medical tests, vaccines and treatments. The adoption fee only covers a small portion of these expenses.
