Additional adoption info
Here at Friends Forever we are dedicated to finding permanent companion pet homes for the rescues in our care. Our adoption process is designed to match the perfect rescue pet into the right adoptive home. Our adoption process includes an adoption application which can be completed online from our homepage. It also includes an initial visit with the rescue pet as well as an in home trial visit before you commit to adopt. We feel this is a very important step in the process because it allows potential adoptive families to get aquainted with a rescue pet in their home to be certain that it is a good fit BEFORE adopting. If the in home trial visit goes well we proceed with the adoption contract which is an agreement made between the adoptive family and Friends Forever as to the care of the rescue pet. Friends Forever also requires an adoption donation of $125.00 for each rescue pet to help offset the high cost of vetting and caring for the animals it rescues. We are also available for the lifetime of the pet for supportive follow-up.
