PAW PALS, Inc. is a non-for-profit organization founded in 2001 as a community outreach program. PAW PALS, Inc. focuses on assistance and education for low-income pet owners in the Quincy, Ill area, by providing all free services including: spay/neuter, vaccinations, shelter, food, urgent vet care and on site education. PAW PALS is modeled after "Training Wheels", founded by Sue Sternberg. There are no payed employees, only volunteers. Even though our goal is to assist the pet owner in ways to help keep their pet in the home, it is not always possible. Therefore, we do offer to find new homes for these pets, either through breed rescues, the local humane society, or our veternary provider.
