The Cat House is a non-profit, no-kill shelter in Lincoln, Nebraska. We are a limited admission feline-only shelter. We began operations in 1998 to provide an alternative to traditional shelters. We only euthanize for pain and suffering, never to make space for more adoptable cats. We are an all-volunteer group. We exist entirely on adoption fees and donations. If you would like to adopt a cat, please see information about our process at www.thecathouse.org/adopt. If you would like to donate to help with our expenses, you may do so by credit card via Pay Pal on our website or send a check to our address. Local volunteers are always needed and welcomed. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out an application on our website.
