Pets for Seniors is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization that matches older shelter dogs and cats with qualifying senior citizens. We work with all area shelters to help place their older pets and we also have a shelter where we can foster and evaluate older animals released to us from animal control facilities.
You don't have to be a senior citizen to adopt from us, however seniors receive a discounted adoption fee and if they live in our area, we can even take possibilities to their home for an "interview". In addition, we will take care of the animal for free should they have to spend time in a hospital and we'll always take it back if they can no longer keep it.
