The Animal Farm

Animal rescue in Paragould, AR

The Animal Farm, a no-kill shelter, was founded on the belief that every companion animal should have the right to live out its natural life in a loving home. The goal of The Animal Farm is to increase public involvement in finding positive solutions to the homeless companion animal problem. Acts of protective intervention by The Animal Farm give many companion animals a second chance at life in a loving new home. We believe a unique and reciprocal bond exists between humans and animals.
We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. We are dependent on our adoption fees and public donations to support our work.

Rescue FAQs

Jonesboro, Paragould and surrounding towns in Northeast Arkansas. We WILL adopt pets to approved homes in the Northeast, anywhere that "Got Orphans Transporters" delivers.

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee is $75-$150 for dogs and $60 for cats. The adoption fee of $75 or $60 covers required vaccines that are appropriate at the time of adoption, spay/neuter, rabies shot, and heartworm testing for dogs. Dogs that require additional medical treatment to restore them to health and ready them for adoption may require the $100 to $150 fee.
No animals are released to new owners until an application review and vet screening has been completed. This means if you come to the shelter and find a new friend to adopt, you will not be able to take the animal home that day, unless you have been pre-approved for adoption.
