SAFE in South Bay

Animal rescue in San Diego, CA

Sometimes even those who help the helpless need a hand now and then. That's where we come in.

SAFE in South Bay (Saving Animals From Euthanasia) is a grassroots effort focusing on companion animal welfare in San Diego, California. Our main directive is to assist with the rescue of homeless pets from local animal shelters, be it via help with transport, rescue networking, collection of funds for medical needs, foster care (when available), and so on.

Relying on established relationships with individuals and rescue groups in the far-reaching animal rescue community, our humble goal is to act as liason whenever and wherever possible to help save an animal from euthanasia. Although much of our work is dedicated to dogs, we strive to be there for any shelter pet that needs our help.
