Cascade Animal Protection Society (CAPS) is an all-volunteer, non-profit no kill organization dedicate to saving the lives of homeless, injured, and unwanted animals in the Puget Sound area. The animals we take into our care come from a variety of situations. These animals live in foster homes until a permanent responsible home is found.

Additional adoption info
Our adoption donation is $100 and up for cats and $150 and up for dogs. This donation helps defray veterinarian expenses. It's not unusual for a pet in our care to need significant veterinary treatment, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, micro-chipping, flea treatment and prevention, de-worming, and in some cases wound care. Some may also require professional grooming, and enhanced nutrition to regain weight lose. These expenses add up quickly, and our adoption donation helps defray these costs and provide for the next rescue. A fenced yard is required for dogs and a home check will be performed, unless other arrangements are made.
