The Animal Control division of the Big Spring Police Department employs four Animal Control Officers that respond to calls for animal services seven days a week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Only emergency calls are handled after 5 p.m. The officers, along with the Shelter Attendant, are tasked with maintaining our animal shelter, working to seek adoptions of housed animals, and solving animal related problems in our community.
