Additional adoption info
The Animal Refuge Center screens all prospective pet adopters before adoption. Adopters must be prepared to give references and pass a “good pet owner” check before the application will be approved. If for example you give us a reference for a veterinarian when we inquire as to your responsibility in keeping up with spay, neuter, vaccinations and other prevention, and the veterinarian gives a poor report or can not find you in their records, the application will be denied.
Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
If you are interested in adoption, first visit our adoption policies online http://animalrefugecenter.org/adoption-policies/ and just fill out our handy Adoption Application right here at http://animalrefugecenter.org/adoption-application/
