Additional adoption info
All Path to Furever Home dogs receive complete medical care, which includes deworming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and microchipping prior to their finalized adoption. In order for our rescue to continue saving dogs our adoption fees range from $100-$600 which covers all these expenses.
The first step in the proces is to fill out an application. It helps us to get to know you and if a specific dog is athe right fit for you and your household. You will be contacted as soon as possible by our adoption counselor who will discuss the information and answer any questions that you may have. The adoption counselor provides a summary of the discussions with the rescue for possible next steps. If there are multiple potential adopters the rescue will select the candidates that we believe would be the best fit on their path to their furever home.
The next step is to meet the dog. The meeting is usually scheduled at a neutral location such as a park or an adoption event. You are invited to bring your family and your dogs to see whether they would make a great addition to your family.
If all goes well, we can start the adoption contract after you have read and agree to the terms of the contract by signing it, it is time to bring your new family member home. The dog's microchip will be reassigned in your name as the new furever owner and you will be provided all medical records to date for your new family member.
