We are the Animal Control for City of Batesville, Arkansas. Our Animal Control Officer, Ross Nelson or Assistant Animal Control Officer Christina Brogdon would love to show you around our facility and assist you in adopting an animal.
We are open from Monday-Friday from 12pm-4:30pm. Closed on Saturdays and Sundays. We have several dogs and cats for adoption at any given time.
Batesville has an animal control ordinance that requires all animals inside the city limits be licensed with the city. We have have pet tags that have QR codes on the back. If your pet were to get loose, anyone with a smart phone could snap a picture of the code and gain access to information that the pet owner puts in. This could help lost pets return home quicker. The ordinance also prohibits animals running at large. For more information on pet adoption or the city’s animal control ordinance, call 870-698-2424.
