Rescue FAQs

HTX Dog Rescue is a non-profit, all breed dog rescue committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for dogs in need in the greater Houston area.
Our dogs are in the Houston area but we do out of state adoptions as well.

  • 2. Approve Application
  • 3. Meet the Pet
  • 4. Sign Adoption Contract
  • 5. Pay Fee
  • 6. Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

The first step is to put in adoption application. Once approved, we will connect you with the foster parent to set up a meet and greet. If all is good at the meet and greet, the foster will proceed to do the adoption with you. Our adoption fees are $275 which includes all vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip and a lifetime registration of the chip.
