The City of Cameron Pound is a small, rural shelter overseen by the city police department. An animal control officer runs the shelter. Volunteers from Milam Touch of Love, a 501c3 non profit organization, provide daily care, enrichment, and love for the dogs.
All the dogs are provided nourishing food, play, and exercise as well as vet care including vaccinations and neutering/ spaying.
