Midwest Kitten Coalition

Cat rescue in Topeka, KS

Our mission is to end the suffering, neglect, and homelessness of felines, starting with kitten rescue. By addressing the entire cycle of cat overpopulation through spay/neuter, education, and outreach, Midwest Kitten Coalition works to improve the lives of cats in our community.

Full Circle Approach
Rescue– We help the kittens most in need and save them from hunger, neglect, abuse, homelessness, disease, and a lifetime of breeding

Foster– By giving kittens a safe haven in their first weeks of life, we can set them up for a long life of happiness.

Spay and Neuter– No kitten or cat will leave our care unaltered. Spay and neuter is the touchstone of our mission.

Adoption– We strive to place every kitten in a loving home, where they will spend their lives safe and cared for.

Community Outreach– It takes a village to care for kittens! We provide food and resources to other cat owners and colony caretakers when available.

Education– Providing education for the community about cats and the importance of proper care is vital to ending suffering and overpopulation.

Network with other Shelters & Rescues– MKC works alongside other animal advocates to maximize resources and impact.
