The Dank Dog Collective™ was a dream that was manifested for a decade until it was brought to fruition in 2021. Founded by two loving dog parents (us!), Kassandra & Miguel Gurrola.
The inspiration behind building the rescue ranch and brand collective was kindled through caring for and witnessing our own dogs' journeys. From the moment our souls connected with their's we found our purpose. We knew we were meant to provide the best life for our dogs and all rescue dogs we meet.
The Dank Dog Ranch & Rescue lives on Valle de Gurrola Rancho in a charming agricultural town, Valley Center, located in North County San Diego, California. The Ranch historically has always been utilized as a dog facility. From originally being operated as a K9 Police Training & Breeding facility, to a local dog boarding kennel, and now a dog rescue that offers local day care & grooming services.
Our intention is to create a fun, safe, and inclusive space for dogs to be themselves or find themselves. The ranch is a sanctuary where we can not only rescue, rehabilitate, and care for dogs, but also advocate for their humanized needs in adoption.
The Collective is a dog loving community of farmers, small business owned by women, latinos, and veterans. It features organic, cruelty-free dog products that we trust to best support a dog's livelihood and well being.
We believe every dog is an alebrije (a spirit guide) and has a purpose to carry out in this life. And because of that belief, our mission at The Dank Dog Collective™ is to rescue and celebrate as many dogs as possible, build brand awareness around pawesome dog products created by makers, and to provide a serene sanctuary we hope dank dogs and their hoomans will enjoy and support for years to come.
