A Leg Up Rescue is a nonprofit, 501c3 organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and then adopting small dogs (mostly Chihuahuas and mixes). We offer a variety of services to adopters, as well as to those who currently have a small dog and are seeking assistance with behaviour modification, housetraining, nutrition, etc.

Additional adoption info
We request potential adopters complete an adoption application and agree to a home visit. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and receive a comprehensive medical examination prior to being adopted. We make every effort to match the right dog with the right family.
