The Lucky Spot Dog Rescue

Dog rescue in SAN ANTONIO, TX

We are a 501c3 non profit organization. We will rescue any dog in need, we are not breed specific. We rescue dogs from the streets, shelters in Texas and other states and owner surrenders. We cannot stand to see a dog suffering or in a bad situation and will help however we can. We pay for whatever medical needs the dog has, we take care of heart worm treatments and any surgeries they may need, full vaccines and microchipping. We have done several broken leg surgeries, cherry eyes, luxating patellas, horrible mange treatments, etc. There is a huge stray dog problem in San Antonio and we realized this in 2011 and started working with rescue organizations to rescue, foster and adopt. After many years, Kim Cahoon decided to create her own organization without limitations to what dogs would be taken in. We are foster based right now, but have big dreams for our future, we will eventually have several acres of land where we can have different buildings with home style settings for our rescue dogs to live in until they find their furever homes.
