Paws Fur Recovery Dog Rescue
Committed to giving second chances to dogs in need
Rescue & Rehabilitate
We swoop in where it matters most. From high-risk shelters to families facing challenges, we open our hearts to abandoned and surrendered dogs, providing them the love and care they deserve.
Heartworm Treatment
Heartworm disease is a curable condition, albeit expensive to treat. Most shelter dogs with this condition often find themselves on death row. We rescue heartworm positive dogs and ensure they get the treatment they deserve to thrive.
Behavioral Enrichment
Through training and love, we help each dog shine. Our dedicated team goes the extra mile to nurture, train, and uplift each dog’s spirit. We believe every pup deserves a fresh start.
Veterinary Care
Our pups receive thorough wellness checks, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and any other necessary medical care. We are deeply invested in their well-being, and will do anything in our power to make sure they receive the care needed to live life to the fullest.
Loving Forever Homes
Those tear-jerking adoptions are what make it all worthwhile. With meticulous care, we match our dogs with their perfect human companions, ensuring the journey ahead is filled with love, understanding, and happiness.
Help Our Mission
We rely on your generosity to thrive. In order to provide essential medical care, rehabilitation, training, food, and a safe haven for these dogs – Your donation, no matter the size, single-handedly is responsible for keeping our mission alive.

Additional adoption info
Thank you for considering the adoption of a rescue. Before you decide to adopt a pet, please consider the effort and funds necessary to properly maintain an animal. Responsible pet ownership requires a commitment to provide care and companionship for the life of the animal. The decision to adopt a pet is an important one. In order to ensure that you and your pet will be happy for years to come, we need to take time to discuss your animal and your individual needs and personality traits. Please take a few moments to carefully read and complete this questionnaire. Please note there are no wrong answers, but honesty is the best answer for all involved. This is to ensure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you and your family.
Please note: Completion of this application does not guarantee adoption. If you do not own your own home - Paws Fur Recovery will need to contact your landlord or HOA to verify that you are allowed to have pets. We will also need to perform an in-person house check to verify that your home is suitable for pets (enough space, fenced in yard, etc). We will need to meet all residents of your home, including any adults, children, pets both inside & out - to make sure your home is suitable for the dog you are seeking to adopt. This is not an exhaustive list of requirements. Every dog's situation is different and every adoption will be handled on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of a Paws Fur Recovery representative.
