Safe Haven 4 Cats SC

Cat rescue in Myrtle Beach, SC

Safe Haven 4 Cats is a 501(c)(3) NO KILL, Not for Profit, all volunteer organization. We are dedicated to reducing the number of feral or unwanted cats and kittens through adoptions and Trap / Neuter / Release / Feed (TNRF) program. Safe Haven 4 Cats SC is dependent entirely on the public's generosity through donations.

- - - - - All of our volunteers are UNPAID
- - - - 100% of donations, fund raising efforts and events are initiated for the SOLE purpose of providing a better quality of life for all cats.

ALL of our adoptable cats and kittens are spayed or neutered and nurtured in a foster home until a forever and loving home is found. Prior to placement, all cats are tested for feline leukemia (FELV) and feline aids (FIV), wormed, provided flea treatment, spayed/neutered, receive distemper vaccinations to ensure they are healthy. Additional adoption info

Currently our process consists of taking our pets once spayed/neutered, vetted and vaccinated either to Petsmart or Petsense for adoption. We just purchased board insurance and we're interested in applying for Petco as well. Once the person has chosen a kitty, they need to fill out an application, pay a fee and they take the pet home. However, in the future we're planning on doing a small background check prior to letting them take the pet home.
