Mercy Sakes 2nd Chance Dogs is a nonprofit, volunteer dog rescue based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. At Mercy Sakes, our mission is to rescue the less adoptable dogs who require behavioral training, additional vetting and care, and dogs who don’t necessarily physically attract the general public. Once rescued, our dogs are fully vetted and the adoption process begins. We screen every home thoroughly and educate potential forever homes on breed characteristics, behavior, vetting, and proper pet ownership. All of our pets are microchipped before leaving our care to ensure they will always have a 2nd chance with us should for any reason, their adoption not be a good fit. All pets who come through our program are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and prescreened in a compassionate foster home. It is out mission to provide judgement free quality care regardless of age, breed, temperament, or circumstances. In addition, we follow up with adopters and remain committed and involved beyond foster and adoption. We accomplish these goals by maintaining positive relationships with local veterinarians, shelters, and surrounding rescues. Mercy Sakes 2nd Chance Dogs is a 501c3 animal rescue incorporated November 1st, 2019.
