Mission Statement:
Educating, reuniting and connecting Four Paws at a time.
To rescue, provide sanctuary, and ultimately to re-home abandoned, stray and neglected animals with a primary focus on dogs. We also assist dogs who, because of extenuating circumstances, are unable to remain in their homes with their owners. We envision a community that no longer needs our services. Dogs in our community that become loose will have collars, tags, and/or microchips to return them back to the owners quickly and efficiently. This is all accomplished through our educational outreach efforts.
About Us:
The organization came about in 2019 with over 96 years of experience between our board and committed volunteers. We realized when a beloved pet is lost and scared the recent vacancy of another rescue's stray hold kennel means that those pets will be traveling even further from their home. Sadly some are never reunited with their people, especially the elderly, who dearly rely on a pets support for what is at times their only companionship.
We formed bringing hope back to the area. To assist the local police departments with a place to safely hold found pets reducing the strain on the departments. To be there when called in to help the most neglected and abused of our four legged friends. To help those who have no place else to turn when their situations become strained financially as we have seen locally with the closing of Wood-Mode and 1,000 people out of jobs. No way to support themselves let alone the pets in their care and they determine the best option is to give them up. Our Board of Director's include local business owners and manager from within our communities doing our part to give back. We are very much a working board that we are hands on in every way possible giving of everything we have to make the world in which we live a better place to be for both the two and four legged alike. We are seeking grants now to become established and begin our service.
