Additional adoption info
If you are interested in adopting an animal, the first step is to email us at cachecreekin@gmail.com for an adoption application. After receiving the completed application, we will talk with you over the phone to tell you more about the animal you are interested in. If the animal seems to be a good fit with your family so far, we will schedule an appointment for you to meet them. All members of the household are required to meet the animal, and if you have other dogs at home we will schedule a meet and greet. We perform home visits situationally where you are able to see the pup or kitty interacting in your home prior to adoption. Adoptions are typically ready to be finalized in one week after receiving the application, but could be longer if there are many applicants interested in one animal. Adoptions are not first come first served.
