We are a group of dedicated dog rescuers. Our lives have all been touched by an amazing woman who lives in La Paz, Mexico, Ceci Barraza. Together we rescue dogs.
The name Mila's Mutts comes from two amazing dogs named Milagros (miracle in Spanish) that have been rescued from Mexico. It was a miracle they made it to the PNW into our loving homes! We have all helped rescue dogs in many different ways, from fostering, escorting, advocating, transporting, you name it. After some discussions, we decided, why not start our own rescue? So, here we are, dedicating ourselves to rescuing Ceci’s dogs. She takes them in off the streets, saves them from life threatening conditions, then once they are healed, fixed, and vaccinated, they can fly to the PNW to find forever homes.
