Misfit Dog Project is a 501c3 non profit whose mission is to pull senior and special needs dogs from shelters once all other options for them have been exhausted. We will fundraise, treat, foster, and rehabilitate these animals until a suitable adoptive home can be found. We are a foster based program governed by a volunteer board of directors. We currently work with 33 other rescues and animal shelters in East Tennessee. Each member of our Board of Directors has either worked in or volunteered for open intake animal shelters.
