Rover's retreat dog rescue is a canine rescue group based in San Diego, California, that finds homes for dogs that are homeless, sick, abandoned, or elderly that need a safe haven. We are not a breed specific rescue, so you'll find golden retrievers, labrador retrievers, beagles, bernese mountain dogs, flat coated retrievers, chihuahuas, australian shepherds, and lots of other breeds that are waiting for you to take them home!

Additional adoption info
We require an online adoption application, followed by an home check, then we match the dogs and the adopters.
We have a contract and there is an adoption fee based on the age of the dog. Puppies are $400, dogs from 1-5 are $350, and dogs over 5 are $300. Dogs coming in from overseas countries (Turkey, China, Korea, etc) will have higher adoption donations. This helps to cover the costs of transporting, immunizing, including rabies, bordetella, and DHPP as well as spaying/neutering and microchipping.
