Meet Baby 🖤 From surviving on the streets to thriving in a loving home, Baby’s story is one of incredible resilience and heart. When she was first found, this brave girl was eating from a dumpster behind an apartment complex to feed herself and care for her newborn puppies—all while recovering from a painful break near her hip. Despite it all, she was an amazing, devoted mom to her six pups. Once rescued, Baby finally got the chance to experience what love and safety feel like. She’s bonded deeply with her foster family—meeting everyone from grandparents to little nephews—and she’s done wonderfully with all the dogs in her home (though she’ll definitely chase a cat if she sees one 😬). Baby is incredibly smart and expressive. She’ll nudge her leash to tell you she’s ready to go outside and use gentle little whines to get your attention. When she’s feeling anxious, she self-soothes by chewing on a blanket or toy, and when she wants affection, she’ll gently press her nose into you to ask for more love. She’s loyal, sensitive, and loves to stay close to her people—always ready to let you know if someone new is around. She’s been through a lot, including FHO surgery to repair her hip, but she’s come out stronger than ever. Now she’s ready for her next chapter—running, playing, and getting the zoomies whenever she pleases. Baby loves to play (sometimes a little mouthy, but always gentle) and is the kind of dog who’ll look at you with those soulful eyes that make it impossible to ever stay mad at her. She’s an extraordinary dog who’s overcome so much, and she deserves all the extra love and care her new family can give. From there, a rescuer opened their heart and home to Muñeca, giving her the love and care she desperately needed. Thanks to their kindness, Muñeca has healed—both physically and emotionally.
