The first step in our process is to fill out an adoption application. Once processed (which can take anywhere from 1 - 14 days) you will be notified of our decision. If approved an appointment will then be set up for you to meet the animal. If everything goes well and it is approved for you to adopt the animal there will be a contract that must be agreed to and signed. Our adoptions are not based on first come first serve. We only match up a home with an animal if it seems to be the right fit for the animal.

Second Chance Rescue Referral is an all breed rescue organization run by volunteers only. We do not have a facility to view animals. Our animals are kept in foster homes. We Rescue All breeds, all ages, & all sizes! Second Chance Rescue Referral takes in stray, abandoned, & owner surrendered animals. Animals are taken in and given love & support and when ready adopted out to approved homes. These animals are socialized with other dogs, cats, and kids.
