Story
Kumi is a beautiful Westie/Poodle mix, about 9 years old and weighs about 16 lbs. Her previous owners dumped her at a high kill shelter with major medical issues. The shelter took care of a mass removal that she had, along with a hernia. She still needs correction of her cherry eye and dental work which we are going to take care of for her. She is doing very well at her Foster home, she loves to cuddle and go on walks, follows her Foster Mom everywhere and likes her belly rubbed. She absolutely LOVES car rides, gets along with other dogs but prefers to be with her humans. Kumi is up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. If you are interested in this amazing girl, please go to our website: www.amrdog.org and complete our adoption application. LOCAL AREA ADOPTION ONLY

Story
This little cutie pie is Forest! He is an 8 month old, Westie with maybe a tad of Maltese or Terrier. Forest came to us with his mom and two sisters when they were being given away for free out of a car on the side of the road. Thankfully, a kind woman got them to safety and reached out to see if we could take them in and we did. All of the family has been adopted and now Forest is looking for his forever family! We want him in a home with another "young" sweet and playful pup. A home with a safe and secure yard is a must as he loves to run around and play! Please note that he is a dog that will require proper and professional grooming every 6 weeks. Owners that are not gone long hours during the day would be ideal. Forest will come to you very shy and unsure, but give him a few days or so and he with patience and lots of love he will open up and blossom! He is one special little guy and we know his forever home is out there! Forest is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We only adopt in the Greater LA areas as everything done is in person...meet/greet, home check, and trial period. Please contact us at gina@theforgottendog.org or 310-990-2020

Story
Petey was surrendered to a woman that lived by a local park where there is a homeless camp. A guy approached her and said he could no longe care for the dog so he handed her the leash and walked away. Poor dude was exhausted- life on the streets is not easy for these animals. He’s best in a home with another dog so he has company. He does not like being alone . He is fine with cats too. He just wants to be part of a family. Very sweet, easy going and adorable.

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 Meet Milo🩵 * While at the Gimje Shelter, Milo would sit in a corner with a perpetually dejected expression on his face. When people approached, he used to retreat into the corner out of fear. To prevent his worry and anxiety from getting worse, he was rescued. * With People: Is wary of people and used to nip defensively, but this has improved a lot lately. His behavior is not aggressive, and he is taking training how to overcome it in school. With constant contact training, he's even accepted treats placed in the hands of people whom he knows! * With Dogs: Usually tends to lie down in a corner but occasionally initiates to play by approaching first and playing tag. May find overly energetic dogs a bit overwhelming, though. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he resides at our center. * Potty Training: Not confirmed as he goes for outdoor potty at our center. * Walks: Goes for walks on the leash well. Sometimes flinches or freezes in surprise during walks, but generally follows well. 💌Special Notes💌 * Nips defensively, but he's improving with continued engagement with Adogs staff! Adogs is looking for a temporary guardian or a forever family who is capable of carrying out desensitization and defensive behavior training for him. ❗Health Condition❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped, and completely cured from heartworm.
