Story
Holly is a 5 year old Saluki mix who is very sweet, a little timid at first, but very very loving! She's submissive to her pack and loves to be held and carried. Holly is house trained and well socialized. She sits for feeding time and only eats when given the “take” command. Holly is a very well mannered girl who doesn’t jump on visitors and also doesn’t bark too much. She knows “sit”, “speak”, “stay”, “give”, “smell” and “besito” (Spanish for little kiss).
Holly comes across many visitors in her current home, so she socializes with people of all ages and backgrounds. She’s gentle and loving with young kids as well. Holly likes to roam the backyard and explore. She also loves the beach, hiking, long walks and playing with her toys. She’s not a fan of loud noises. She hasn’t been around cats, but she lived with chickens, another small dog, and her sister Ginger.

Her background and story: Holly and several siblings were born in Qatar (peninsular Arab Country) were they were kept in rabbit cages from the time they were born, until they were rescued at 4 months old. At that time, a rescue in Qatar reached out to our sister rescue in the U.S., to see if they could take the litter into their care. They made their way to the U.S., and we received them a few months later. Holly and Ginger were adopted together by a wonderful family soon after, but unfortunately they are retiring and unable to take the girls into their new living situation.
