Meet Tessa!
A spirited nine-month-old Rhodesian Ridgeback from Port Orchard, WA, whose essence is a vibrant burst of joy wrapped in a luxuriously light wheaten coat marked with wonderful dark "eye liner." Tessa's heart of gold is ready to bring love and smiles to her new humans!
This playful pup is in excellent health, having recently been spayed and kept up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She's also microchipped, house-trained, and crate-trained, making her a well-rounded addition to any home! With a large, muscular build typical of her breed, Tessa will grow to about 75 pounds, offering a blend of strength and grace.
Tessa's favorite activities include gnawing on bones and chew toys, running off-leash in the woods, and visiting the dog park. Her high energy and love for outdoor adventures make her a perfect companion for an active family! She’s also undergone formal obedience training and knows a variety of commands, including sit, stay, down, come, leave it, and crate.
Despite her energetic nature, Tessa handles being left alone for short periods quite well. She has no known triggers that cause her anxiety or stress, making her a stable and reliable companion. Tessa’s daily routine includes two 30-45 minute walks, meals twice a day (sometimes thrice depending on her activity level), and plenty of playtime.
Tessa is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs, young children, and strangers! Her friendly demeanor and playful spirit make her an excellent fit for a family with space for her to run and play. An ideal home would include another young or active dog to keep her company and engage her in fun, energetic play sessions.
