My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is such a happy boy. And why shouldn't he be? He was picked up as a stray a week ago and taken to the Trumbull County Dog Pound where he thought his time was up, but instead, he's now at New Lease on Life and already dreaming of finding a new family of his own!

We believe Pepper is a Boxer/Shiba Inu mix. He's only 8 months old and already weighs just under 50 pounds, so we're expecting him to be around 60 pounds full grown.

He loves people and was even running around, playing with the junior volunteers, only minutes after arriving.

You can meet Pepper at the Adoption Center Monday through Saturday 1pm to 7pm. He has not yet seen the vet, but you're welcome to meet him and reserve him for your family in the meantime. He is expected to be ready to go home in about a week.
