My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Archie is about 7 years old and his owners had had him since he was a baby. The family lost their home to foreclosure and poor Archie ended up in a high kill shelter in GA. He is a very mellow, loving, yet still young dog who just loves people and is good with kids, other dogs, etc. He is a very healthy boy, of course neutered and up to date on all, was well cared for all his life. Archie was sitting in a shelter for a few months when we heard about him and just had to help him. He looks like a large Dachshund, but could be possibly be a Basset mixed with it, he's about 38lbs and 100% housetrained, a very easy keeper.
