Hi! My name is Rocco, and I am almost four years old. I am what they call a parti-colored Schnauzer because my coloring is black and white. I am a little guy weighing in at 14 pounds.
My owners decided they no longer wanted me and brought me to a high kill shelter in West Virginia. A nice lady from Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati saved me from the shelter and let me stay at her house until she was able to bring me to Cincinnati.
My foster mom asked me what I would want in my perfect forever home. I told her that I want to be adopted by someone who will be patient with me as I learn to be less scared around people and learn to walk on a leash. I do not think I want to live with children. I do not think I would be mean to them, but I think some kids were mean to me in my last home and they scare me a lot. I would love to have a fenced in yard. I love chasing my foster fur-siblings around the backyard. Speaking of fur-siblings, I would love to have some in my forever home. It is important, though, that they like to play and have a good time.
If you are looking for a fun loving dog that likes to play as well as cuddle on the couch, then I am your guy!
I am neutered and up-to-date on all of my shots. I’m housebroken and crate-trained. If you are interested in making me a part of your family, please fill out an application. My adoption fee is $275.
Rocco is fostered by Jessica and Justin in Cincinnati OH
