Jacques sure is a cool looking guy. He is large but that is what makes him a Pyrennes mix and he's just one big hunk of love. Jacque is very docile and very calm. He is so impressive, we can't believe he has not been swept away. Some of the least "in your way" dogs are the big ones who don't bark and demand your attention all the time! This bundle of love would like a sofa to snooze on. He like many others that come into the shelter may have owners that fall on hard times..or they may have had a home, but got turned out and then brought in to animal control as a stray, .some of them have been trained, even housebroken. That' s why visiting the shelter and taking a chance on a homeless dog often proves to be a great choice. The shelter address: 650 John Howell Memorial Drive in Lincolnton. 704 736 -4125 , Open 6 days a week; M-Sat 11 to 4:30 . Closed Sunday. Adoption fee of 85.00 includes the spay or neuter , another disease preventative vaccine and a rabies vaccine, a microchip, as well as worming and a new bonus, 30 days of free insurance... There is a family friendly adoption room too..
