Ashton is a male Havanese/WheatenTerrier mix only 8-10 months of age. He weighs 20 pounds and will probably be about 25-28 pounds full-grown. He and has beautiful, medium length wavy gold fur tipped with gorgeous apricot highlights on top. Ashton's coat is soft, thick, and non-shedding. His ears have just a hint of gray at the ends, as does the end of his long, flowy tail. Ashton is a classy young gentleman. He is very well behaved and easy to manage. He is super affectionate and loves to be inside with his people. His favorite position is snuggled in a cozy doggie bed watching the activity around him. If you call him over, Ashton will come eagerly, happy for attention. Ashton is gently playful and good with other dogs and good with children. He does not like a lot of commotion and will sit out of the way of rough-housing and crazy play. Ashton is very loving and adores having his head stroked. He will most likely roll onto his back midway through the petting so he can also have his soft belly rubbed. Ashton is a cuddler and will bond very closely with his people. He adores treats and will become very alert and sit at attention if you have a tasty tidbit to offer him. He walks easily on leash and rides well in the car. Ashton was brought in stray to a very high kill shelter with a nasty scrape on his back foot. It is healing nicely and brave young Ashton is going to be just fine. He is healthy and grateful to have been rescued. Ashton will be a wonderful, loyal pet and companion for some lucky person or family. He is a gorgeous dog and has a sweet, loving temperament to match. Ashton is ready for his new forever home today!
Ashton’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Ashton is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Pam & Allen and is ready for his forever home.
