Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Curley is a very unusual looking but absolutely adorable little curly tailed dog. She was rescued by members of the Five Rivers Animal Aid, a group of volunteers committed to rescuing animals in need in an underserved area in northeast Arkansas.
Curley ma combination of pomeranian, rat terrier and possibly even a bit of pug given her curly pug tail, but your bet is as good as ours! Regardless of the mix, she is very vivacious and active. She LOVES to play with every dog (and person!) that will possibly pay attention to her but she also quickly jumps into your lap and becomes an irresistible cuddle-bug. She is young, maybe just one year old and weighs about 16 lbs. She is spayed and will be microchipped prior to adoption. A record of excellent vet care for current or prior pets is a must. Her adoption fee is $150.
Preference will be given to applicants who have specific breed experience.
Please visit www.realgoodrescue.com to submit an electronic application if you are interested in adopting this or any other Real Good Dog.
We adopt dogs from Memphis Animal Shelter when we can. The shelter has an 83% euthanasia rate, one of the highest in the country. Unfortunately, any dog coming from Memphis Animal Shelter, and most other shelters for that matter, will have been in contact with contagious illness. Even though the dogs have been in foster care and appear to be in good health, they may become stressed when changing environments and exhibit signs and symptoms of illness. If you have other pets, they need to be up to date on vaccines before bringing a shelter dog into your home. We will take the adopted animal back, but we are not responsible for your other animal's vet care. We always disclose where the dogs have come from. Please ask for any information about the dogs and exercise due caution if you have immunocompromised animals.
