Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nina is a shy young two year old who is uncertain about the world but very much wants to trust and be loved by a family of her own. Give her just a little time and some treats and she will decide you are safe and kind. Nina is so affectionate and loving once she understands you are the same.
Nina is the kind of calm and faithful dog who bonds quickly and thoroughly. She is a calm and gentle girl who may bark at strangers she is not sure about but who values her family and friends tremendously.
Her prior foster family said she was housetrained and she does potty very nicely on the leash when you take her outside. She is a bit unsure about leash walking but certainly enjoys being out with you and will gain confidence quickly. She is a strong girl and needs an owner who can teach her not to pull while on the leash. When Nina is playing with her doggie friends, she is joyful and has a marvelous time.
While she may seem timid and too quiet when you first come to meet her, just give her a little time and you will see the true Nina blossoming into her playful, affectionate self.
Nina is a lovely girl with beautiful markings. She is seeking an experienced owner who understands shy dogs and will be able to socialize her gently so that she becomes the fabulous dog she was meant to be. She would love to have a companion dog in her new home. Nina is 41 pounds. Adoption donation $125.
