It all began in August 2012, when Margaret was picked up as a stray and brought to a low-kill shelter. It was hard to believe no one would come looking for such a friendly, loving girl but no one did and Margaret was put up for adoption. Week after week, month after month, Margaret was the friendly face for everyone -- welcoming all the new intakes as they came in, and wagging her tail goodbye as they left for their new homes. It has now been over a year and Margaret is still happy as ever, keeping a smile on her face and hoping for her chance. Surely someone has the heart to let this loving girl spend her life getting all the love and security she so deserves. Margaret is a playful, affectionate girl who gets along with everyone - babies, kids, adults, dogs, and probably cats (we can test her if necessary). She's about 2 - 3 years old, spayed and healthy. She's somewhere between the size of a beagle and the size of a pointer, with a little weight to lose (who doesn't?!)
