Newton is a male Poodle/Scottish Terrier mix only 1 year of age. He has shiny black non-shedding curls and a small white diamond on his chest. Newton has been professionally groomed and currently has a shorter haircut. He is a nice sturdy size, weighing in at 14 pounds. Newton is a merry young dog, always happy and truly the life of the party. He is endearing to all, very sweet, good natured, and playful. Newton can find entertainment wherever he is and happily plays with toys, or engages in a lively game of chase with another dog. Newton is excellent with other dogs and children. He is such a warm, affectionate boy and will quickly hop up into your lap for a snuggle if you invite him. Newton is very amusing in his play and will make everyone around him laugh. He walks out nicely on leash and you can take him absolutely anywhere. Newton appears to be highly intelligent and also eager to please his people. He is very quick to catch on to new commands and will do anything for a treat. He could very easily learn basic obedience, tricks, or even agility. He has a nice amount of energy and is quick and light on his feet. Newton loves to play fetch with just about anything you throw for him. He would make a great doggie friend for someone with an existing dog, or simply a fantastic choice for a nice all around family pet. Newton was brought in stray to a very high kill shelter where he lasted, amazingly, for over a month. He was definitely a shelter favorite in a shelter that does not hang on to dogs very long - a true testament to his outstanding personality. Newton is very healthy and ready for his forever home today!
Newton’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
