To my forever parents,
I have been waiting all my life to meet you. I have been living with my foster mom for the past couple of months, and she's been really nice to me, but she's not my forever mom. It all started a couple of months ago when my brother, Jackson and I were in this place they call a "kill" shelter. Doesn't sound like a very nice place, but it was okay. We didn't get to play very much though.
My foster mom came and got us and took us home with her. The man at the place where I got my shots said I was around 6 months old. I am kind of little, I only weigh 12 pounds. But I have a lot of love to give. They say I'm a Schnauzer mix, whatever that means. I had to have all those shots too. But I was brave, and took it really well. They said I had to have them so I don't get sick. Oh, and I had to get neutered too, but we won't talk about that. Not too happy about it, if you know what I mean.
I have never been around little people, so I don't know if I like them or not. But you know what I do like?? Those fuzzy things my mom calls cats. I don't hurt them, I just really like to chase them. I sleep in a kennel, and have to stay there sometimes when my foster mom has to leave. So you might want to get one if you don't already have one.
I've been a really good boy about going outside to go potty too. I've had a few accidents, but it wasn't my fault....really. Nobody let me out. I hope you have another dog that I can play with, because I have never been alone. What I'd really like is if my brother, Jackson could come with me. He's pretty cute too. I am the official ears, eyes and face washer. I like to clean everybody.
Anyway, I am really looking forward to meeting you and spending the rest of my life with you. I'll try my best to make you happy. I'm really very sweet, you'll see. I'll be here waiting. See you soon.
Yours truly,
Jasper
