THIS IS JULIET....and she is a precious princess. This little 2 yr old, 8.8 lb, almost all black, with the exception of her chest and tippy toes, is likely a mix of Shih Tzu and Affenpinscher. She has a very shiney, sleek coat that is soft, not wirey, but very straight. No matter what she is, she is a dollbaby. Juliet is a very smart girl, as she does her business as soon as she is taken out (but no promises at your house!) She is quiet as a mouse, until she gets outside and meets up with a stranger who she wants to protect you from! She is great on the leash, loves to sniff and smell the world! She is fine with other dogs, but does not like dogs who are over actively in her face. That being said, she probably wouldn't like being in a home where she was left alone. She loves to play and is learning more about toys. Once she knows you, she will bestow kisses on your to let you know how much she appreciates your love. We're sure she was overlooked at the shelter because she is black and couldn't be seen in the back. But in our opinion, this is a black diamond who any family would be lucky to have!

Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

Most Sundays, unless we are doing a special event, we are at Westfield Century City Mall from 12p-4pm behind the Concierge Booth near Brooks Bros. Park in the Orange Section in the parking structure and come up the escallator and follow the signage. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!!
