Martin is an absolute joy to be around, the perfect combination of play and rest! He thinks playing with a ball is the best thing in the world but he settles down easily for snuggles and snoozes after a bit of play or a nice walk. He is a confident, joyful kind of guy.

Martin is a very friendly dog, who should do well with both adults and children. He rides well in the car and has a wonderful, scruffy, low shedding type of coat.

Martin was part of a group of dogs who had to be given up when his owner's health declined. He is used to being around other dogs, but would also be content to be an only dog. We think Martin is about 3 years old. He weighs 40 lbs.; Ideally, he should probably weigh 35 lbs. He hung out in the office with us for a few days when he first came and he appears to be housetrained. He would need to be crated when not supervised at first, though, just to be sure he gets off to a good start in a new home. Adoption donation for Martin is $125.
