Charles is a male Standard Poodle/Maltese mix only 1 year of age. He has an absolutely gorgeous, fluffy, super soft coat of white curls with apricot highlights on his ears and on the tips of his fur. His coat is non-shedding and hypoallergenic. Charles is a nice medium size, currently weighing 20 pounds. He will probably gain another 5+ pounds since he is a little underweight from his experience being stray. Charles is a class act, very friendly, social, and sweetly playful. He loves to play fetch with a small tennis ball or stuffed toy, he adores squeaky toys, and he loves treats of any kind. Charles is extremely interactive with his family, attentive and always good-natured. His tail wags constantly and he usually has a big doggie grin on his face. Charles is great with children, nice with other dogs, and good with cats. He walks well on leash and has a definite show dog bounce to his step which makes him all the more gorgeous. Charles has been professionally groomed post-rescue, but has a weird haircut on his muzzle due to an unfortunate volunteer attempt at grooming while at the shelter. This fur will grow back, completing his stunning good looks. Charles is a real head turner, but more than that he is a really, really nice boy. He has a heart of gold and it shines for all to see. Charles is great inside the home, easy to manage, and always agreeable with whatever you want. He would make an excellent family dog. Charles is healthy and ready for his new forever home today!
Charles’ adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
