Figgins is a male Havanese/Wheaten Terrier mix approximately 2 years of age. He has a dense, curly, soft gray and tan coat that is non-shedding and hypoallergenic. Figgins is a nice medium size, weighing in at a sturdy 20 pounds. He has been professionally groomed and currently sports a shorter summer cut. He has an athletic, compact body and beautiful markings on his face. Figgins is a smart boy and catches on to the ways of the household easily. He loves to play fetch with toys, tennis balls – you name it and he will play fetch beautifully with anyone, anytime for however long you desire. He is a very healthy boy and housebroken. He is highly trainable, quick and attentive, and very smart. Figgins would make a wonderful pet and companion for a household with an active lifestyle since he can keep up with daily activity without a problem. He adores attention, the more the merrier. He seems to prefer adults and would do best in a home with one or two adults and possibly older teenage children. Figgins is a good boy out and about and is social with other dogs. He enjoys trips to the beach, dog park, or even hiking. Figgins is very playful and will romp around playing with a toy or a doggie friend for hours. He has a nice energy level without being hyper. He will lay quietly while you have lunch on an outdoor patio, and then spring into action when it’s time for a brisk walk. Figgins is not meant for a retiring, sedentary lifestyle and will thrive in a home where he can go places and do things. Figgins was brought in stray to a very high-kill shelter and even in his neglected state, his lovely temperament and gorgeous good looks immediately caught our eye. Figgins is ready for his new loving forever home today!
Figgins’ adoption donation is $375 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Figgins is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda & Eric and is ready for his forever home.
