Woofie is such a cute and happy boy. He sits when told and walks nicely on a leash - he does not pull the leash! He LOVES to play, as you can see on his video and he loves to play with other dogs. Woofie has kept his upbeat attitude even though he was stuck in the back of the shelter with no attention from the public or volunteers. The shelter is just too full so they utilize every bit of space available. When Woofie came in as a stray on 8/19, the only cage available was back in overflow. He's now been moved out to the front so people can see him and he has a chance of being adopted! Woofie is a 5 month old, current 25 pound Pit mix and Pit Bulls, when treated with love and respect, are among the most loyal and loving breed there is. Please don't let the unfair bad publicity keep you from giving Woofie a chance. Do not let Woofie become another Pit mix statistic when he has done nothing wrong. Woofie has already been neutered and has tested heart worm negative. He is up to date on shots and will be micro-chipped upon adoption. Woofie is in cage 311 and his ID is 558906.
