Nectarine is one of the most adorable unique little mutts we've ever seen! She looks just like a shrunken chow- full grown at only about 20lbs. This 4 year old was surrendered to an area shelter because her owner was moving. She is friendly and playful, loves petting and belly rubs, although typical of her breed she can be stubborn at times and takes some time to trust. She can be protective of her food and bones so will need an experienced adult household able to train and manage her behaviors. She has gotten along with all the dogs she has met so far, listens well and seems to be housebroken. Please submit an application if you are interested in this one-of-a-kind beauty!

We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
